So, today didn't really go as planned (at least not as far as my daily goals are concerned) but, all in all, I had a good day and I don't really feel guilty about any of it. EXCEPT... I stopped at McDonalds and got Ethan a 4 pc chicken nugget meal w/a Sprite and me a small fry and a large Coke. :( I gave up fast food and eating out at restaurants for Lent... God is surely working in me!!! I didn't even finish my fries and I used to be able to down a large one in no time; I even felt guilty as soon as just one of those fries were in my mouth. Shame on me!! Plus, Ethan didn't even eat his... He had maybe one nugget and I don't think he even ate any of his fries. So, I know I need to work on the planning portion of my days a little better. I didn't take any meat out of the freezer and I didn't even think about it until it was after 5:00 and Jason wanted to go look at kitchen tables and chairs after he got out of work. It just threw everything off... The thing I learned from this is that I need to PLAN better!!! P.S. I took pork chops out of the freezer for tomorrow night. :)
I got up this morning at 0830 but fell back to sleep... Got up and started cleaning the house. I had someone coming over that had never been here before and I at least wanted the kitchen and living room decent. Jessica from church came over and watched Ethan so I could keep my appointment at the salon (hair trim & pedicure)!!! I didn't realize last week when I made this appointment that Ethan would be on Spring Break and I didn't have anyone to watch him. Thankfully Jess wasn't busy and said she would watch him. Praise the Lord for her!!! :) So, I busted my butt for over an hour, cleaning the house, worked up a sweat, and just kept moving the whole time. I do not think that replaces going to the gym but I know that I did some good stuff this morning.
Today's goals were:
1. Get up at 0830. CHECK
2. Be to gym by 0915! NOPE
3. Depending on shins, do Wk 1 Day 3. If not, then burn 500 calories on the Arc trainer. NOPE
4. Eat all meals at home. NOPE :(
5. Be in bed by 11:00p. NOPE
So, tomorrow is another day... I am going to get a board that I can write my (daily) plans on and keep visible throughout the day. And also write the menu for the week on it. I am excited about that. That part will be fun!!! B/c if you fail to plan... You plan to fail!!! And who wants to plan to fail?!?!? Not this person, I can tell you that!!!
I am going to watch Jimmy Kimmel Live from last night to find out who the next Bachelorette is going to be and then I am going to bed. I don't think I am going to waste my time watching the Bachelor/ette anymore... Last night was just a waste!!!
Tomorrow's goals are:
1. Be up by 0900 (let's try this).
2. Be to the gym by 1000 (at the lastest).
3. Do cardio on the elliptical/weight loss program.
4. Eat ALL meals @ home.
5. Be in bed by 11:00p (will continue shooting for this!).
Main goal (right now): I will lose 40 lbs by 1Aug11!!! :) That is a total of 4.5 months and averages about 9 lbs/month. I can do that!!! REALLY gotta work on the food portion of my life! Tomorrow, I will keep track of every single calorie that goes into my mouth and see what I am starting at and then subtract what I need to to make this happen!
