P2 W5 D30

I really have to stop writing my blog so late in the evening.  I am so tired right now that I can't really think of what to write.  Going to go back and read some of my previous posts from earlier this year and look at the format and probably start that all over again!  Gotta get on top of my eating.  It's been not so clean the past couple of days and my body can tell!  That, and I'm dragging butt.

Okay, so tomorrow is a new day.  Gonna cook up some stuff and look for some new recipes.  Getting burned out on what I've been eating already and it's only been four weeks.  P.S.  I watched a Rachael Ray show from last week where she made Cobb Club Turkey Burger (called something like that) and I think I am gonna make it.  It sounds soooooooo good.  Gonna look up the recipe on her site and go from there.  :)  I already took 2 lbs of lean ground turkey outta the freezer, so I am set there!  Just gotta get the other ingredients it calls for.

P2 W5 D29

Woohoo!!!...  First day of Phase 2 and I am lovin it!  The cardio makes me feel like me again and I can't WAIT to see what kinda results I get at the end of these four weeks (Phase 2)!

This is also my last week of classes (for these two classes)!  I have a lot to catch up on and turn in before Saturday morning!  But I can do it!  I have no other choice, so I kinda have to.

Not much going on here...  Kinda boring!

I did, however, lose six pounds this last four weeks and 2.5 inches around my waist!  :))  Here's to the next four weeks!

P1 W4 D26

Today was a good day except I don't feel like a good Mom b/c I am always yelling at Ethan b/c he always doing bad stuff.  UGH!!!  This is gonna be a LONGGGGG weekend; Jason is gone until Sunday.  :((  Anyways, I had an okay day but it's also hard to get things done on the computer with Ethan up and crawling all over me.  Like now, it's 10:15p, and he is still up, crying on the floor by my feet b/c he wants me off the computer.  But I told him I had some things I need to get done so I can go to bed.  Man oh man!

Today's goals were:
1. Get up at 0800.
2. Eat breakfast @ 0900.
3. Go to gym @1000.
4. Do legs/calves.
5. Eat clean!
6. Do Kinesiology DF.
7. Reply to 2 people.
8. Be in bed by 11:30p.

Today's workout was legs/calves:
Same as Day 23

Okay, that's it for now...  He is screaming in my ear and I'm getting pissed.  Thank you MIL for your frickin help (she is sitting at the kitchen table, watching all this go down.)

P1 W4 D25

So, today went by so fast and I feel as though I didn't get a lot done, even though I did (just not EVERYthing on my list).  Ever feel that way?  I am soooo tired!  It feels a lot later than 10:30p!  Anyways, I have one hour to get the last things done for the night before I am to be in bed!  :)  I can do it!

Okay, so today's goals were:
1. Call doc.  SUCCESS!
2. Finish yesterday's goals.  3/4 SUCCESS!  ;)
3. Be in bed by 11:30.  SUCCESS!
4. Blog.  SUCCESS!
5. Write out plan for tomorrow.  SUCCESS!
6. Load & unload dish washer.  SUCCESS!
7. Declutter kitchen counter tops!  :)  SUCCESS!

Today's workout was Chest/Tris:
Wide Push-ups:  3x10 @ no weight
Incline DB Press:  3x10 @ 10 lbs
Flat Bench Flyes:  1x12 @ 10 lbs, 1x12 @ 8 lbs, 1x10 @ 8 lbs
Decline Flyes:  3x10 @ 8 lbs
Bench (or Bar) Dips:  Bar 1x3 @ 200 lbs, Dip 1x10 @ no weight
Lying EZ-bar Tri Ext:  3x10 @ 15 lbs
DB Tri Kickback:  3x10 @ 8 lbs
Tri Ext:  3x10 @ 8 lbs
Cable 1-Arm Tri Ext:  2x10 @ 15 lbs, 1x10 @ 10 lbs

Wow!!!...  My arms were SHAKE.ING when I was done and for awhile after.  I don't know how I got messed up on the Flat Bench Flyes but I did and did 12 reps twice.  Oh well!

Yesterday's goals that I said I would do today were:
6. Go through E's toys in the corner of his room.  SUCCESS!
8. Work more on Sports & Drugs project.  No.  :(
9. Take care of meat (in fridge).  1/2 SUCCESS; I took care of the turkey but not the chicken.  Will do the chicken tomorrow.
10. Wash fruit.  No.

I made Jamie Eason's 3-Bean Turkey Chili for dinner tonight.  And then I also made up some Pumpkin Spice Protein Bars and Carrot Cake Protein Bars.  Yummy!!!

Okay, so I am going to finish this up now and figure out my meal plan form tomorrow and then go to sleep.

P1 W4 D24

Today was an okay day.  I started getting a headache once I got home from the gym and ate lunch.  I laid down at about 4:30 and slept til 9:00.  It was gone for a little while after I woke up but now it's coming back.  After I write this, I am going to take some allergy medicine (hopefully it will work) and go to bed.  Gonna call the doc (again) tomorrow.  I called last week about the headaches but they haven't called me back.  Ugh!

Today's goals were:
1. Get up @ 0800.  SUCCESS!
2. Prepare dinner & put in crockpot.  SUCCESS!
3. Be to gym by 0915.  Didn't get there until 1130 but I still consider this a SUCCESS!
4. Fold & put away clothes in basketSSUCCESS!
5. Wash, dry, fold, & put away towels.  SUCCESS!
6. Go through E's toys in corner.  No; will do this tomorrow.
7. Unload dish washer & load.  SUCCESS!
8. Work more on Sports & Drugs project.  No; will HAVE to do some tomorrow.
9. Take care of meat in fridge.  No.
10. Wash fruit.  No.
11. Blog.  SUCCESS!
12. Be in bed by midnight.  SUCCESS!
13. Make meal plan for tomorrow.  SUCCESS!
14. Eat CLEAN!  SUCCESS!

Made Slow Cooker Italian Stuffed Peppers...  The first few bites were really good but the rest wasn't; only ate about half.  Not a hit in my house.  :(  Well, at least I know now.  Right?

Today's workout was Back/Bis:
Hammer Strength Lat Pull:  1x10 @ 40 lbs, 2x10 @ 50
Widegrip Lat Pulldown:  3x10 @ 50 lbs
Seated Narrow-grip Cable Row:  3x10 @ 40 lbs
Bent-over Barbell (BB) row:  3x10 @ 20 lbs
Back Extension (on yellow ball):  3x10 no weight
BB Curl:  3x10 @ 15 lbs
Incline Dumbbell (DB) Curl:  3x10 @ 8 lbs
Alternate Hammer Curl:  3x10 @ 8 lbs

That is some good stuff right there!  Boy, was I feeling it when I was done.  We'll see how I feel tomorrow or even the next day.  It usually takes me about two days to feel the full effect!  :)  When I was done with weights, I did 28 mins on the elliptical.  Good stuff!!!  :))

Okay, so I am going to call the doc tomorrow...  That is my goal for tomorrow PLUS finish up the goals from yesterday.

P1 W4 D23

Last night, I wrote out some goals for today.  I am starting to get back to how I was when I first started eating right and working out THREE MONTHS ago.  :)  Can't really believe it's been that long but I am ecstatic about it!  Anyways, I bought a cork/dry erase board a few months back and have gotten away from using it.  Well, I wrote some goals out on it last night and the meal plan (for dinners) and I pretty much stuck to it today!  I've gotta update it when I am done writing this.  I am feeling a little bit more put together.  Granted, it's only been a day but it's all about progress and that is exactly what I am doing!...  Progressing!  :)

On this board, at the top, I have a saying that I found in the Oxygen magazine:  A FIT woman owns a POWERFUL body and an equally FIERCE brain, but she also possesses good HEALTH!  (Emphasis is mine.)  I just LOVE this so much!


I also wrote out my goals for the day, and they were:
1. Have E to school by 0930 (we are notorious for being late).  SUCCESS...  YAY!
2. Go to gym & do Legs/Calves.  SUCCESS!!
3. Call Aunt Donna & text Mary.  SUCCESS!
4. Take midterm.  I didn't; did other homework instead.
5. Eat CLEAN!!!!!  SUCCESS!!

After writing this out, last night, while laying in bed, I added a couple more goals to my notebook b/c I had to make sure I got some things done.  :)

1. Goals on board.  SUCCESS!  (I consider this a success even though I didn't complete number 4.)
2. After gym, get stuff for dinner.  SUCCESS!
3. Blog!  SUCCESS!
4. Be in bed by midnight at the latest.  SUCCESS!
5. Start on project for Sports & Drugs class. Email Rach Kinesiology stuff.  SUCCESS!

Today was Legs/Calves day @ the gym and the workout goes as follows:
Leg extensions:  3x10 @ 40 lbs
Widestance Barbell Squat:  3x10 @ 18 lbs
Walking Barbell Lunges:  3x10 @ 18 lbs
Single-leg Deadlifts:  3x10 @ 15 lbs
Lying Leg Curl:  3x10 @ 25 lbs
Seated Calf Raise:  3x10 @ 30 lbs
Standing Calf Raise:  3x10 @ 15 lbs

If you are wondering, yes it was a KILLER workout!  Always is!!!  Actually, all of Jamie's workouts are killer.  I can't wait to take pics, measurements, and weight on Sunday (the end of Phase 1; the first 4 weeks of the program)!!!  See, I KNOW that I know that I KNOW that changes are happening but I just can't see them and that fact makes it hard to accept the fact that things are REALLY happening.  Do you know what I mean?

Anyways, I am so extremely proud of myself...  Well, first of all, let me start by saying that I have been having headaches for over a week now, every day, off and on, and nothing seems to help them.  So, I went to my chiropractor this afternoon and he adjusted me (I LOVE THIS!) and told me to come back in one week.  Upon leaving there, we stopped at Crest for ingredients for tomorrow night's dinner (stuffed bell peppers in the crock pot!).  :)  Anyways, I saw bad things ALL over the stinkin store but I did not buy ONE THING!  I wanted to...  OH how I wanted to!  But I walked out with what was written on my list and none of the bad, sugar-loaded CRAP!  I have also been reading labels and ingredients and comparing different brands.  I am learning and making this an every day part of my life and I am LOVING it!!!  Yesterday, I made the decision to EAT CLEAN this week and I am off to a great start!  :)

Tomorrow's Goals are:
1. Get up at 0800.
2. Prepare dinner & put in crockpot.
3. Be to gym by 0915 (time the Child Watch opens).
4. Fold and put away clothes in the clothes basketS!
5. Wash, dry, fold, put away towels.
6. Go through the toys in Ethan's room (corner).
7. Unload dish washer & LOAD it!
8. Work some more on Sports & Drugs project.


Okay, those are just some things that I have to get done and if I don't hold myself accountable, I (more than likely) will not do them!!!

I am gonna finish this up, close laptop, turn off lights, make sure E is covered up, take my meds/vitamins, hop into bed, write out some things in my notebook, and go to sleep by midnight.  I have 28 minutes!!!  Thank you for reading and for helping hold me accountable!

Phase 1 Week 4 Day 22

What a wonderful feeling it is that i am starting week 4 today and I haven't missed a workout yet. I feel amazing! Granted, I have had to switch workouts up during the week but have never skipped one!!!  Can't wait to do my leg workout tomorrow!

I ate like crap over the weekend and decided last night that this week, I am going to stick to healthy eating (no eating out) because I want to see a difference from all the hard work I am putting in at the gym!  If I don't get it together with my eating then all of this effort will be for nothing!  So, today Jason comes home from work and says that Domino's has pizzas for $8.00...  I scream, "BABE!!!" b/c he KNOWS what I am trying to do!  Needless to say, we did not get pizza but had leftover dinner from last night.

I read something today that completely put things into prospective for me...  I was going to go to McDonald's for lunch today but after reading this, I got up and made some turkey meatloaf muffins, pumpkin protein bars, and carrot cake protein bars.  :)  I plan on making stuffed bell peppers in the crock pot for dinner tomorrow night.  I am excited to see what a week of clean eating does for my body!!!  I just know that there will be some amazing changes happening here!  :)

Phase 1 Week 3 Day 17

Hello all!!!  :)

I am back to blogging here!!!  I have been blogging some on Transformation.com but too much.

Today's workout was the HARDEST yet!  OUCH!  And I made Jamie Eason's Turkey Meatloaf Muffins and they are SPICE.EEEEEEE!!!

Ok.  Going to bed now.  I'm tired and I have a headache.  :(
