Do you think I need to change up the titles or no?...It kind of helps keep me organized but I can switch it up!!! :)
Today was a little off but I did get a lot accomplished! Woke up, started a load of towels, folded the load that has been sitting on the chair for over a week! Emptied the dish washer, loaded it, made Ethan breakfast and me a shakeo!

3 lil pkgs of fruit snacks
1/2 of a sassy shrimp roll
1 EFL sloppy joe
pb&j sammy
taste of tomorrow's night dinner (made it tonight b/c I had the meat out anyways!)
I went to two different stores and there was CANDY everywhere...I almost grabbed some; looked at the back of it and saw how much sugar was in it and decided against it. B/c my goal for the week is to stop eating refined sugar sweet treats! I feel very proud of myself for just passing it by! I feel stronger and empowered! I know I can do this and push past the desire!!! Is there anything you're working on giving up?
All in all, a good day! No more fruit snacks! There are only 2 more pkgs left and there will be no more bought for this house! What do you give your kids for healthy snacks?
OH!...We went to a karate place for Ethan today...He wasn't having it; Master Nickolas said we can come back next Tuesday and try it again; we won't have to pay until Ethan actually participates in class!!! Wish us luck! :)

Day 44 - Rest
Good evening!!!
Today was a scheduled REST day and I took FULL advantage of it!!! How about you? What did you do today? I did fairly well on eating today until hubby came home with CHOCOLATES!!!...I took a tiny bite out of 6 pieces (to try them) and ate 2 full pieces (it was a box of 8 pieces)! Not TOO bad, right?
Okay, so today's goals were:
1. Find pic of Bridesmaids dress & print it out! SUCCESS! :) Well, we need ink so I didn't print it out but I did find a pic of one to use for now (until Rach finds the one she wants us to wear). 2. Find pic of a CUTE outfit for Rach's rehearsal dinner & print it out! SUCCESS! :) Didn't print out.
3. Print out some pics of Vegas & Disney (for board). Found pics but didn't print out; SUCCESS! :)
4. Finish watching webinar that I started on Friday! No; but I did watch a different webinar and listened to a conference call...Would this be considered SUCCESS? I think so!
5. Blog! SUCCESS! :)

Tomorrow's goals are:
1. Get up at 0800, be to VA by 0830 (pray for no line)!
2. Get blood drawn, eat Pumpkin Spice Protein Bars on way home!
3. Work out at 1000 (if on track with time; if not, then just do it when you get home from VA).
4. Eat all meals at home.
5. Figure out what's for dinner (NOTE TO SELF: Work on menu for week for dinners!).
6. Do dishes (UGH!).
7. Do ONE load of laundry: wash, dry, fold, put away.
8. Blog.
9. Be in bed by 1100 (at the latest).
10. Work off of Biz To-Do List as well.
Tomorrow's meal plan is going to be a little off b/c I have to go give fasting blood work; I'm already hungry just thinking about it! So, Ethan and I will get up, get ready, go to the VA, I'll give blood, and then we'll snack on a couple pumpkin spice protein bars on the way home!!! THEN...
Tomorrow's meal plan is:
0900 Pumpkin Spice Protein Bars, 2
1000 WORKOUT; 1 glass water
1100 My Reese's PB Cup Shakeology :); 2 glasses of water
1300 turkey meatloaf muffins in w/ketchup; 2 glasses of water
1500 8 strawberries, 1 large banana, 1 scoop of Jillian Michaels' Vanilla Cream Shake Whey Protein in 8 oz water
1800 Something with Chicken!
2000 Pumpkin Spice Protein Bars, 2Not a lot happening over here...Decided I am going to do what needs to be done in order to pay (what I owe to) Financial Aid so I can finish my FOUR classes and be done for a little while. Throwing the idea around of going for my Masters in Nutrition with a specialty (or whatever it's called) in Diabetes. Something I am growing more and more passionate about b/c of my parents. I WISH I could help my Dad and answer his questions or address his concerns when he comes to me...It KILLS me to not be able to take away what's going on in his body!!! UGH!!! But, anyways, I HAVE to finish my BS in Exercise Science first and then I'll put more thought and prayer into the next step!
Have SERIOUSLY got to get to bed before 1A every night! Man!!! There is just always SOMEthing to do, right? Gonna make it a point to work off my To-Do List tomorrow and maybe put something else together as well.
Amen to this! This is what keeps me going...EVERY DAY!!!...My WHY! What is yours?

Day 43 CLX - PC1
Good evening!
I am getting it together...Slowly but surely! :) I made turkey meatloaf muffins, pumpkin spice protein bars, and attempted tuna salad (didn't turn out).
Okay, so today's goals were:
1. Get up at 0700. No.
2. Do PC1. SUCCESS! :)
3. Call Doc & make an appt. No; it was after 5p before I remembered to do this.
4. Finish yesterday's to do list. I completed 3 out of 6 things! So I consider this a SUCCESS!!! :)
5. Wash, dry, fold, put away laundry! I did 2 loads (Ethan's clothes & towels) so, again, SUCCESS! :)
Tomorrow's goals are:

Day 42 CLX - Rest
Oh Melissa Melissa Melissa! Why don't you ever learn?! I didn't write out my list last night for today and I was kicking myself this morning about it! I was getting so frustrated as I tried to write out my meal plan. UGH! We had bible study at 1015, church service at 1130, a bday party at 2, and then Jason wanted to go to the Outlet Mall today!!! MAN! Busy...And I wanted to make sure I had more lean protein today b/c I was STARVING all day yesterday! I did not work out today even though I wanted to do PC3 b/c I didn't do it earlier this week. Oh well, the rest will be good for my knee. Gotta add call doc to my to do list. I have a calendar that I made for drinking my Shakeology and completing my workout for the day and I mark the day off when it's done...This is my favorite part of my day!!! I look forward to crossing the days off...Do you guys have anything like this? And do you look forward to it as much as I do? :)
I have mentioned before but I'm gonna mention it again b/c it's something I strive for every day...I have a Brita pitcher and fill up to 10 cups every night (for the next morning). I have been doing great getting this done but I think I'm gonna start adding it to my daily to do list b/c there are a few days that I haven't reached this goal. How much water do you strive to drink a day?
Watched the Grammys tonight and I'm really glad I did. I don't normally remember to watch these shows but I enjoy this one!

Day 41 CLX - BI
Hello Hello Hello! No, I did not drop off the face of the earth! I am back!!! I don't really know why I stopped blogging here and vlog but I did. I am, however, back and rearing to go! :) How have you been?
I have been plugging away at ChaLEAN Extreme and am LOVING it!!! I actually went today and bought heavier weights; DEFINITELY need it during the Push phase (which is what I'm in right now). I am now a smaller version of myself and I feel great! I didn't change much of my eating during the last six weeks but I have today!!! And I am going to from now on!!! I want bigger and better changes than what I've experienced during the Burn phase...And the only way to do that is to eat cleaner. Do you subscribe to the Clean Eating magazine? I do and I love it!
Below my right knee has been hurting pretty bad for the past few days, esp when I go from sitting down to standing up. I think I'm going to make doctor's appt Monday morning and see what he says. It's not just sore...it's PAIN!
Since I did not work out Wednesday or Thursday, I have to workout tomorrow. So I will be getting up at 0830 in order to get it done in time, drink my Shakeology, shower, and be to church by 1000 to take Ethan to the childcare, and up to our Bible Study by 1015! Busy day tomorrow! I will stick to my food plan. I will blog every day (maybe every other day). :)
I went grocery shopping today!!! Something I haven't done in awhile...We were just going to get a few things here and there. Not anymore...I have a plan and we're going to stick to it. I had to tell Jason like 10 times today that I am not going to eat out! He kept on it all afternoon! He finally took Ethan to Panda Express (Yuck!) while I went to get us yummy food (to eat at home). But PLEASE remind me to NEVER grocery shop at WalMart again!
And this had NOTHING to do with the storm coming to town...They had ONE lane open! Are you kidding me??? RIDICULOUS!
