What a good day!!!... I went to the gym about 1130 and my shins weren't hurting so I thought I would give Week 1 Day 2 of C25K a go... Well half way into it, I had to stop b/c I was hurting and I didn't want to REALLLLLLY hurt myself so I switched to the elliptical. I usually do the manual program on the elliptical so I can go up and down as I choose BUT today I decided to do the weight loss program. Holy CRAP!!... What a workout! It started me out at an incline of 4 w/a resistance of 1 for four minutes then it went up to an incline of 10 w/a resistance of 8 (for a total of 28 mins). Talk about hard! But I did it!!! And, w/treadmill & elliptical combined, I burned 500 calories!!! :) I did about 16.5 mins on treadmill and 36 mins on the elliptical. All in all, it was a good day. I guess I'm not gonna worry too much about the C25K program as long as I am getting to the gym and getting my workouts done.
Today's goals were:
1. Be to the Y by 0930 (child watch opens @ 0915). (Well I got there at 1130. So, CHECK)
2. If shins are good, do Week 1 Day 2 of C25K. If not, burn 500 calories on elliptical. CHECK
3. Eat a banana w/lunch. :) CHECK
4. Eat dinner @ home. CHECK
5. Get package together to mail to Mom. CHECK
Tomorrow's goals are:
1. Go to bank and pay mortgage.
2. Get Devon's bday present (super late).
3. Mail out package to Mom.
4. Eat all meals at home.
5. Be in bed by 11:00p.
