Day 3 of 35

I did a good job today...  Altho I did not go to the gym this morning, I did go this evening, after dinner.  I woke up this morning and started cleaning the kitchen b/c Jason was going to be home tonight (he was out of town overnight).  I wanted the house to look good when he got home.  :)  So, needless to say, I didn't feel like going to the gym once I cleaned the house.  I told myself that I would go once the Child Watch opened back up for the evening and that was 4:30p.  Well, I didn't go then either.  The next plan was once Jason got home, we'd eat dinner, and I would go by 6:30p.  I think I actually ended up going about 7:00p and that took EVERYthing I had in me to get out the door.


Today's goals were:
1.  Go to the gym @ 1000.  I went @ 7:00p, so CHECK
2.  Try a workout on maybe the bike (bottom's of feet hurt from today's workout).  CHECK
3.  Burn @ least 700 calories!  Nope, but I did burn 500 which is still a SUCCESS in my book, so CHECK
4.  Eat all meals at home.  CHECK
5.  Do all the dishes and have them all put away by the end of the night.  (Anyone that knows me, knows I HATE dishes!!!)  CHECK!!!!



All in all, I had a good session at the gym.  I did try the bike but I only went for like 10 minutes b/c it wasn't burning calories fast AT ALL.  In ten minutes, I burned only 35 calories (I can burn over 100 calories on the elliptical in just 10 minutes!).  So, I got off of that machine and hopped on the Arc trainer, I went 3 minutes (burned 25 calories) and just wasn't feeling it.  So, I went back to the ol' faithful; elliptical machine!  I did the weight loss program on it and went 37 minutes and burned 444 calories.  So, all in all, I burned a total of 504 calories for the day.  I am happy with that.  I know I said I was going to shoot for 700 calories but who REALLLLLLLY wants to work out for an hour?!  Doing cardio, nonetheless.  Not me, well not on ALL days!  Maybe a day here and there.  Other than that, I will be happy with 500-600, I think.  I am going to try a new machine tomorrow; got an appt with Alicia (trainer) to go over it with me.  My feet are still hurting from the elliptical; don't get it!!!


Anyways, food calories are going great as well!  It's Day 3 of counting calories and it's not as hard as it once was.  I love myfitnesspal!!!  :)  Consumed 1516...  Deficit of 584.  CRAZY!  Don't get used to it.  There are days that I KNOW I am going to go over and I will be okay with it!!  :)


Tomorrow's goals are:
1.  Get up at 0815, get E up, get him dressed, fed, and out the door for school by 0915.
2.  Go to the gym immediately after.
3.  Figure out a good cardio machine that my feet won't hurt afterwards.
4.  Eat all meals at home.
5.  Clean Ethan's room while he's at school; go through toys and clothes and get rid of stuff.


I wanted to weigh myself SOOOOO bad today but I am working on breaking that addiction.  Although I didn't see anything wrong with what I was doing, I know it was wrong!  I would weigh myself multiple times a day EVERY single day.  So, Jason hid the scale for me and only brings it out weekly.  :)
