Today was a complete success!!!... I think I really like this productivity thing!!! :) I got up this morning and went to the Y and did Week 1 Day 1 of the From Couch to 5K program. Let me tell you!!!... It KICKED my butt. Goes to show how out of shape I am. :) But I made it there, I did it, and I am SOOO proud of myself!
Today's goals were:
1. Go to the downtown YMCA. CHECK
2. Mail my textbooks.
3. Wash and cut the fruit. CHECK
4. Pay bills. CHECK
5. Finish laundry. CHECK
I also emptied the dish washer (which I don't like to do), loaded the dish washer, and cleaned off the counter tops. That was just extra for the day. P.S. I'm not torn up about the mailing textbooks out b/c I have until Saturday to do it and I do not want to take Ethan with me so I am gonna do it Thursday (while he is at school). :)
One more achievement for the day is... I made a GYN appt. I completely despise these types of appts... And for that reason alone, I have not gone to one in 1.5 years. Shame on me, I know, that's why I scheduled the appt.
I feel awesome! I feel accomplished! Now I just have to keep it up. I figure that as long as I am doing SOMEthing every day, I will be golden. Doesn't even have to be big things, you know? Small steps lead to great rewards! Oh, speaking of rewards, I am getting a new pair of running shoes REAL soon. Oh yeah, my shins are SOOOOOOOOOOO sore!!! Been stretching them every chance I get. So, my main goal for tomorrow is, no matter how much I hurt in the morning, I WILL be at the gym by 1000 (at the latest)!!! :)
Tomorrow's goals:
1. Go to the Y.
2. Burn (at least) 500 calories on the ET!
3. Eat 2 servings of fruit in the morning.
4. Eat dinner @ home!
5. Be in bed by 11:00p.
I've SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO got this!!!... :D
