I have officially ended my FOURTH week of working out! I just can't believe it. I am so proud of myself. I only missed Monday of the first week and Tuesday of the second week and every weekend (b/c I take those off) but other than that, I have worked out EVERY day of those four weeks. This hasn't happened in YEARS! I am just amazed!!! :) And, I was just thinking, as I was typing "Day 12 of 35," how awesome it's going to feel to type "Day 35 of 35" and know that I worked out EVERY SINGLE day (well, remember, I am not counting weekends!). Really, just knowing I am taking these days I am given and doing something about my weight is awesome! I used to let days go by and I would look back four months later and not be any further away from the weight I was when I first started. Now THAT sucks!!! But not anymore!! :)
Today started with a three minute warm-up on the elliptical and then she took me over to our spot and had me do more cardio... I think her goal today was to kill me!! I had sweat dripping! But I also gave it everything I had today; today was different than Monday and Wednesday! I feel amazing. Don't get me wrong, I hurt like no other and am TIE.ERD!! (I know that is spelled wrong but I wanted some emphasis put on it!) One hour straight, non-stop, torture! :) Nah, it's not that bad... Although, sometimes it feels like I am gonna die! I love it just the same!
Today's goals were:
1. Be to the gym by 0950. SUCCESS
2. Do load of towels (one more left). SUCCESS
3. Empty dish washer (ICK!) and load it @ least once. SUCCESS
4. Eat a veggie with dinner! SUCCESS
5. Eat all meals at home. SUCCESS
I just love how I am motivating people to start working out! I don't feel worthy of the credit but it's because of what I am doing for myself that is motivating others to get moving. They are reading of all my little successes and they want that for themselves. And I am so glad that I can use my experience to get others wanting more for themselves and then get moving! Yay, my friends! :) I am also praying a lot and reading some motivational books like "Believe It, Be It" by Ali Vincent and "Reshaping It All" by Candace Cameron Bure. And learning some motivational bible verses. It all comes back to wanting a healthy, fit, active, in-shape holy temple! A temple God (and I) can be proud of!!! Let's do this thing! :)
Anyone have a garden? I want to plant one but I'm afraid of all the work that goes into it. And isn't it expensive? Or is it cheaper than going to the grocery store or a local farmer's market? Opinions please!
I am not setting any goals for tomorrow b/c I am taking the whole weekend off... From counting calories, blogging, exercising, and eating right! Well, okay, not the whole weekend off from eating right; I don't think I want the bad crap in my body b/c it WILL retaliate and I don't wanna be in the bathroom all weekend. :)
Love y'all!!!
YAY for you... You are doing AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeleteAbout the whole garden thing... it is a lot of work, but it is A LOT cheaper than going and buying the items!!! Remember, dad use to have a garden all the time. Ethan would probably like it too!!!
Oh yes I remember our garden!!! The difference with us is that we don't have a big yard... But we could still plant a little one. We're throwing the idea around. :)
